The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Burlingame is our host facility. The Crowne Plaza is located only minutes from San Francisco International Airport, and offers over 300 comfortable and well-equipped guest rooms. Each room offers free high-speed Internet access, speakerphones with data ports, voice mail, cable TV with HBO, laundry service, coffeemaker, and such grooming essentials as iron/ironing board and hairdryer. Excellent on-site dining is available in the hotel, and a buffet lunch or sandwich bar will be provided to accommodate busy exhibitors. The hotel is just half a block from the San Francisco Bay, offering lovely views of the waterfront and a bayside walking trail. 

The Crowne Plaza has hosted specialty shows in the past and understands the special needs of host clubs and exhibitors. The outdoor exercise area is steps away from the hotel door. The main ballroom will provide ample carpeted space for conformation and obedience events, while agility competition will be held on smooth grass at a public park conveniently located next to the Crowne Plaza. Indoor grooming space will be available close to the rings. Vendor space will be situated just outside the main ballroom so that attendees will have easy access to browse the vendors’ offerings. The Crowne Plaza prides itself on being a pet-friendly facility. Facilities at the Crowne Plaza are commodious yet compact, which will make for a less harried and more relaxed National week and easy participant access to all events.

We have negotiated a room rate of $109/night, which is significantly lower than the average rate for hotels in the area. Six dogs will be allowed per room.

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the largest airport in the region, and has many direct flights for exhibitors from all over the country.  Guests and their dogs may use the hotel’s 24-hour free shuttle service for easy access to and from SFO. The hotel shuttle runs every 25 minutes from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM, and is on call from 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM.

For those driving to the National, the Crowne Plaza is conveniently located on Highway 101.

From the north: Take Highway 101 South to Broadway exit. Follow the Airport Boulevard signs and travel east across the overpass. Turn right on Old Bayshore Road and follow straight into the hotel driveway.

From the south: Take Highway 101 North to the Broadway/Burlingame exit. Turn right and follow straight into the hotel driveway.
